Story
It has been almost 40 years since my parents fled Afghanistan. I've always had guilt, this unsettled feeling of being one of the lucky ones whose family escaped when so many others were left behind. But I now realize that by living, working, and being educated in the West, I am able to give back to women in a meaningful and impactful way. My mission is to empower women by providing them with roles in the modern and digital workforce.

Women and Technology

The latest advancements in technology have already started to erase geographical borders for virtual workers and have allowed educated and driven women to take on virtual jobs. We employ female university students and graduates who support companies in all sectors: from bookkeeping to web design, from social media support to virtual admin assistant, from data entry specialist to IT support.

Education

I graduated from Simon Fraser University with a bachelor's degree in business administration. I went on to obtain my chartered accountant (CA) designation with one of Canada’s largest CA and business advisory firms. I have also worked extensively in both the corporate and not-for-profit worlds gaining valuable experience and insight in both controller and director of finance roles.
